VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- The 5th Annual East Coast She-Crab Soup Classic will be held from noon to 3 p.m., Saturday, April 27 at 24th Street Park at the oceanfront.
An open competition among 21 participating restaurants, the Classic focuses on one of the region’s most-loved seafood delicacies. The highly identifiable cuisine has been a staple of area menus for decades.
Restaurants serve their individual recipes and compete for People’s Choice Awards, determined by ballots of those attending. Critic’s Choice Awards also are given by a panel of six leading regional cuisine experts.
A limited number of tickets are available for The East Coast She-Crab Soup Classic. Advance tickets are on sale at $14 plus service charges through all Ticketmaster outlets and the Virginia Beach Information Center. Tickets are $18 day-of-show, if available.
