The 7^th Annual East Coast She Crab Soup Classic returns to 24^th Street Park at the Virginia Beach oceanfront on Saturday, April 11, from Noon to 3:00pm.

An open competition among local restaurants, the East Coast She Crab Soup Classic focuses on one of the region’s most-loved seafood delicacies. This highly identifiable cuisine has been a staple of area menus for decades.

Restaurants serve their individual recipes and compete for People’s Choice Awards, determined by the ballots of those attending. Critic’s Choice Awards also are given by a panel of four leading regional cuisine experts.

The East Coast She Crab Soup Classic is a ticketed event.

A limited number of tickets will be available. Advance tickets are on sale at $14 (plus service charges) through all Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets are $18 day-of-show, if available.

Tickets may also be purchased in advance at the Virginia Beach Visitor Information Center (2100 Parks Avenue). The Visitor Information Center only accepts cash or checks for payment, and the hours are 9:00am-5:00pm daily. For more information, call 757-491-7866.

Children 12 and younger who are not sampling and are accompanied by an adult are free.

Dogs and beach chairs are not permitted in the tasting area.
