Local and regional gospel dance groups, quartets, powerful vocalists, and gospel music choirs celebrate a genre of music that needs to be seen AND heard.
Todd Dulaney spent most of his life pursuing a professional athletic career and fulfilling that dream - playing professional baseball for the New York Mets - and then struggling with the disappointment of an injury that would end his career too soon. But knowing God and being a man of faith, he came to grips that his baseball career was over, and was excited to explore his higher calling in music. Currently, his instantly likeable single, "Pulling Me Through" is in the Top 40 on all three gospel music charts and continues to rise. Todd Dulaney will perform on Friday, May 4, from 8:45-9:05pm.
Clint Brown is the featured performer Friday, May 4, from 9:15-10:15pm. Taking the lead as one of the nation’s premier songwriters, singers, and musicians, Pastor Clint Brown has penned over 300 praise and worship songs which have been recorded, sung, and performed all over the world and in five different languages. Many of Pastor Brown’s albums still remain on the top 10 of the praise and worship distribution charts, selling over one million albums.
Singer, songwriter, producer and actor Isaac Carree will perform Saturday, May 5, from 9:30-10:15pm. Native to Greensboro, NC, Isaac started his music career in 1990 when he received the opportunity to sing with John P. Kee and New Life on the hit song “Wave It Away.” His solo album, titled “Uncommon Me,” really reflects his journey on discovering who he is as a musician and a person. “My album is fresh and different,” explains Carree. “There is something on there for everyone. I want people to see my personality through my music. There will be detours throughout the course of life, but the key is to get back on track and fulfill your dreams. Take the time to follow and understand your journey to find the ‘Uncommon Me.”
Many other performing groups, along with food and merchandise vendors, will be featured at this free event.
