Urban contemporary gospel music takes center stage at Gospelfest Virginia Beach, held at the 17th Street Park!

This event features an electrifying two days filled with the inspiring sounds of Southern gospel, gospel hip hop, and praise music.  Local and regional gospel dance groups, quartets, powerful vocalists, and gospel music choirs celebrate a genre of music that needs to be seen AND heard.

4LOVE is a unique vocal group whose beautiful harmonies will enchant you.  4LOVE brings together 4 extraordinary women and an amazing band who have created a sound all their own.  These young ladies take you back to true Gospel while providing a life lesson.  Look for their first single, "Praise," from their debut album 4LOVE coming out in April, 2010.

James "J.J." Hairston's ability to craft tunes with timeless melodies and timely lyrics is aptly demonstrated by the title track "Resting on His Promise" from their latest release.  Youthful Praise's fifth album not only offers the trademark East Coast choir sound, expansive melodies and inspired lyrics for which Youthful Praise has set the standard, but also offers the contagious energy of driving rock-infused tunes and plenty of foot-stompin' rhythm to satisfy the traditional gospel music fan!
