Virginia Beach, Virginia – Charles Barker Toyota Scion Monsters on the Beach, presented by Production Off-Road, brings thrills and chills to the Virginia Beach oceanfront as Monster Trucks battle for ultimate sand domination! This family-targeted event is loud, fast, and exciting. A course is built right on the beach at 6th Street, with bleachers overlooking from the boardwalk. Sand dunes and junk cars combine to make the race course fast and fun for drivers and spectators alike. This is a ticketed event, with prices designed to fit the family budget.  Each of the four shows is approximately 2 hours in length.

Bigfoot 18 is the “original” monster truck.  It holds the world record for speed and long jump.

Stone Crusher is a three-time qualifier for Monster Jam World Finals.  Stone Crusher is also the home-town hero, based in Virginia Beach!

Local truck owners can enter the Eastern Truck & Accessories Truck Show & Shine.  On Saturday, May 12, truck enthusiasts enter their vehicles to be viewed, judged, and win trophies.  Trophy winners return to display their entries on Sunday.  Registration forms for the Truck Show & Shine may be downloaded from www.BeachStreetUSA.com.

Monster truck rides are a big hit with the young and the young-at-heart!  A smaller, family-friendly course is built on the beach at 4th Street, and rides are offered continually throughout the weekend, even at night!

Yamaha will be offering free demo rides for qualified drivers.  Demo units include Grizzly 450 EPS, Grizzly 550 & 700 FI EPS, YFZ450 R&X, and Raptor 700 & 250.

Merchandise is available from local and regional off-road truck shops. The monster truck drivers sell merchandise and are available at autograph sessions following each show.

The four big shows at the Charles Barker Toyota Scion Monsters on the Beach, presented by Production Off-Road, will be:

7:00pm, Friday, May 11, 2012
Noon and 7:00pm Saturday, May 12, 2012
2:00pm, Sunday, May 13, 2012

Ticket Prices:

$12 in advance through Ticketmaster (plus service charges)
$15 day of show at the gate (if available)
Children 2 and under free
