Virginia Beach, Virginia –Italy2Go is a new event that brings together cooking celebrities in a celebration of Italian food and fun!  Held under a giant tent at the 17th Street Park at the Virginia Beach oceanfront, Italy2Go will inspire and entertain you with stories, recipes, ideas, and anecdotes about everything Italian!

General admission tickets are $30, and feature:
•    Cooking demos with instructors from the Culinary Institute of Virginia (School of Culinary Arts of
ECPI University)
•    Session with Teresa Giudice, cook book author and star of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey"
•    Cooking demos and session with Fabio Viviani, restaurant owner and executive chef, cook book
author, and competitor on Bravo’s reality series “Top Chef”
•    General admission seating
•    Meet & greet with Teresa and Fabio

A limited number of VIP tickets for $50 are available.  These tickets feature front-of-house seating at round tables.

Fabio is perhaps best known in America for appearing on season 5 of Bravo’s reality series “Top Chef” and earning a place among the final four contestants. Before he was eliminated from the competition, he was named Fan Favorite. Fabio returned to Bravo in 2010 to compete in their “Top Chef All Stars” edition.  Fabio Viviani was born on October 10, 1978 in Florence. After the need to help out the family and get a job presented itself at the young age of 12, Fabio applied to work in a bakery where first he was told he was too young and then later invited to work nights so that no one would know.  Fabio moved to Ventura County, California at the age of 27 and now works as the owner and executive chef of Cafe Firenze, a renowned Italian restaurant in Ventura Country, and Osteria Firenze, a popular Los Angeles Italian eatery.
