Elvis Karaoke Contest

It’s time to “let your inner Elvis® out” at this year’s Elvis® Karaoke
Contest during the popular Viva Elvis® and the Legends of
Rock & Roll festival in beautiful Virginia Beach!
All Elvis® “wanna-be’s” are invited to hit the stage and belt out
their favorite Elvis® tunes before an adoring public. But not everybody
will be so adoring! Our discerning panel of judges will be listening
and selecting the top performers as winners for CASH PRIZES!

The contest begins promptly at 7:30pm. Registration begins at
6:00pm in front of the stage.

There are “professional,” “amateur,” and “junior” (through age 16) divisions, so don’t let your lack of Elvis® experience keep you from participating!

The following trophies and cash prizes will be awarded:

1st Place Professional/1st Place Amateur
2nd Place Professional/2nd Place Amateur
3rd Place Professional/3rd Place Amateur
1st Place Junior (through age 16)

Official rules and regulations:

(1) Registration begins at 6:00pm. Contest officials will close registration when all spaces have been filled.
(2) Spaces are limited.
(3) The contest is free and open to the public.
(4) Costumes are encouraged but not required.
(5) There is NO advance registration. Participants register the night of the contest.
(6) Contestants may bring their own music to sing. Song selection MUST be on a CD and provided at time of registration. Contest officials reserve the right to approve musical selection.
(7) Other participants will select from the approved song list provided at time of registration.
(8) In order to make the contest more enjoyable for spectators, participants will be encouraged to NOT repeat songs performed by other contestants. Please be flexible!
(9) Contestants MUST be present at the award ceremony to win.
(10) Remember folks: this is a FAMILY event! Contestants must refrain from inappropriate costumes, gestures, or actions. Officials reserve the right to stop an inappropriate performance.
(11) Winners will be selected by the panel of judges. Their decisions are final!
